Certified Birth Doula, Certified VBAC Doula, Certified Postpartum Doula &

Bachelors Degree in Nutrition

I've been drawn to birth work my entire life and have found such a profound calling in my work as a doula, supporting families through their own birth journeys.  I've been a part of the medical field for the past 15 years and this work has led and prepared me into my role as a doula.  I am passionate about supporting families, encouraging mamas to use their intuition to meet their babies and holding space for this transformative experience that is birth.  The shift into motherhood and bringing baby home is intense and beautiful and I absolutely love working with families throughout their postpartum time.

I am a mama to two beautiful girls and a baby boy and my own unique birth experiences have helped fuel my desires to be a doula.  I've been lucky enough to experience a vaginal birth with an epidural, a c-section and an unassisted VBAC.  My man and I have been married for eleven incredible and crazy years.  We love traveling, snowboarding and adventuring with our tiny tribe.  When I grow up, I'd love to be a professional foodie!

No matter where you are in the world you can always find someone anxiously awaiting the birth of their babe.  No matter what their beliefs are about child birth, they will at some point bring that tiny human into the world.  I also love that every journey is unique. My love for the art of birth started while walking and working alongside a dear midwife friend in Uganda Africa for 8 years. My heart lit on fire for mamas all over the world.  I feel elated and honored every time I am invited into the story of an expecting family. It is my absolute desire and passion through my work as a birth doula and childbirth educator to help each birth experience be the best it can be.

I have been married to one of my favorite humans for over 10 years. He and I have a crazy mix of 4 children who run amuck in our house. After adopting our first I gave birth to the next three. We both grew up in big families and have absolutely enjoyed building our own.

Hi! My name is Kelsey and I am a red wine and dark chocolate peanut butter cup aficionado (yes, the ones from Trader Joe's).  I love love love the crazy people that call me wife and mom.  I've been married to my best friend for a decade and counting now!  We have 3 beautiful children and were incredibly honored to have participated in foster care for the past few years.

I worked in the NICU for 6 wonderful years till I decided to stay home with my babes...but I just can't stay away (birth junkie).  I've also spent some time in Uganda working alongside a dear friend as she began her journey as a midwife.  I love the uniqueness and beauty that each birth holds.  The honor of experiencing childbirth alongside parents is not lost on me.  What a gift this work is!
